About the KyGenWeb Project
In March and April, 1996, a group of genealogists organized the Kentucky Comprehensive Genealogy Database. The idea was to provide a single entry point for all counties in Kentucky, where collected databases would be stored.
At the same time, volunteers were found who were willing to coordinate the collection and distribution of information and generally oversee the contents of the web page.
Volunteers are needed for Edmonson County. We need individuals who can:
- Provide Datbases (Census Transcriptions, Cemetery Data, Death Certificates, etc.)
- Perform Specific Lookups (From Books, Journals, Original Records, etc.)
- Lookup specific documents upon request (Marriage Certificates, Deeds, etc.)
The individual responsible for Edmonson County is Bill Vincent. Contact him if you would like to contribute your time and resources.
